With comfortable lodging, recreational activities, a fully equipped conference center with Wi-Fi, and a commercial kitchen, we provide everything you need to make your retreat both meaningful and memorable.
Retreat season runs mid-August through May and we can accommodate up to 65 people. We do not host retreats during our Summer Camp season. Our rates are competitive and can be customized to fit your needs. Hat Creek Camp is committed to meeting your needs so you can pour into your staff, counselors, and campers.
With more than 350 acres and 2 lakes, Hat Creek Camp is an easy driving distance from Roanoke, Charlottesville, Lynchburg, VA. and much of northern North Carolina. We are affordable with beautiful waterfront facilities and amenities.

Enjoy the use of our Conference Center, including a commercial kitchen, fireplace, rocking chair porch, 18 bedrooms with shared bathrooms, and 2 large meeting rooms including wi-fi! Your guests can also make use of an additional 6 rustic cabins that house up to 60 individuals.

• The Pickle (Pictured) - This charming rustic cabin at Hat Creek Camp, has three rooms, a bedroom, bathroom, and common space/kitchen. The kitchen includes a stove, fridge, blender, coffee maker, and microwave. The bedroom has a Queen bed, and the bathroom has a spacious shower. This cabin is small but very personable, around the camp it is affectionately known as The Pickle. Free parking, a/c, firepit, pets welcome. Perfect for quiet getaways in the country.
• Kris Kin Cottage - Escape to Kris Kin Cottage, a secluded one-bedroom cabin on 350 acres at Hat Creek Camp. Sleeps 4 with a queen bed and sleeper sofa. Unplugged and peaceful, with access to a private lake for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing. Explore miles of trails, or enjoy the sand volleyball court, basketball court, and disc golf. The perfect unplugged getaway for couples and families.

Hat Creek Camp offers well-equipped meeting spaces for groups up to 100 (40 in the lower dining room and 65 in the open space on the second level). Our accommodations range from simple bedrooms in the Hammersley Center to 6 rustic cabins on the property that can accommodate up to 60. Private and secluded, we offer activities for all abilities, and are a great choice for your next gathering.
